What: Joseph commanded to make a proclamation to the president of the U.S. and rulers of all nations, the Saints are to build a house for entertainment of strangers and a temple in Nauvoo, temples are built for holy ordinances, Jackson County Temple construction is excused because of oppression, directions for the Nauvoo House. Hyrum Smith called to be a patriarch and receive the keys and stand in Oliver Cowdery’s place. General and local officers are named.
